The Sanno Toheidagoshi Sites are from settlements dating from the 14th and 15th centuries. Homes with posts dug into the ground, and tateana pit-type sites were found. Many ceramics and Haji Ware such as Suzu-yaki ware pots produced in the area that is currently Suzu City and some bowls made in Kaga City were unearthed. Straw rope-patterned ancient Japanese potteries made in Jomon Period (12,000 BC - AD 500), chipped stone axes, and pieces of clay figures were also unearthed.
The Sanno Aramiya Sites are from settlements dating from the 8th to 9th centuries. Tateana (pit-type) dwellings and homes with posts dug into the ground were found. Hajiki ware pots, Sue ware pots that were used for cooking and storing food were unearthed. Straw rope-patterned pottery from the Jomon Period and chipped stone axes were also found in these sites.
The Sanno Nishiyosa Sites are from settlements dating from the 14th to 15th centuries. On the land covered by rubble of varying size, many homes with posts dug into the ground and tateana (pit-type) sites were distributed. Pottery such as Suzu-yaki ware and Echizen-yaki ware that were produced in relatively near settlements, and Seto-yaki ware produced in Aichi Prefecture were unearthed. Furthermore, celadon porcelain (Seiji) and white porcelain (Hakuji) imported from China, and copper mirrors with chrysanthemum and bird patterns were also unearthed, which suggested that there must have been a person of power in the settlements.
