The museum houses artifacts excavated from the Okyozuka sites in Ishikawa Prefecture, designated as Important Cultural Properties, artifacts found at the sites of Suematsu Temple, and other artifacts from the Jomon Period (12,000BC - 500BC) to the Middle Ages. Documents regarding the Togashi family, governor (shugo) in the Kaga Region, and other documents designated as Nonoichi City Tangible Cultural Properties are also exhibited at the museum. Inside the museum, visitors can try their hand at making earthenware and magatama (comma-shaped beads).
