Discoveries at the Futsukaichi Ishibachi Sites include settlements dating from the Yayoi (500BC - AD300), Tumulus (late 3rd century - 7th century), and Middle Ages, and ancient mounds from the Tumulus Period.
Artifacts from Yayoi Period included 23 pit-type dwellings, 13 dwellings with posts dug into the ground, and 2 nunobori-type dwellings with posts dug into the ground built between the 1st and 2nd centuries. The majority of the pit-type dwellings were square with rounded edges. Pentagon-shaped dwellings were also discovered, and one of them has a side measuring 10m, which is large.
A settlement and ancient mounds from the Tumulus Period were also found. The settlement is located in the same area where the settlement from the Yayoi Period was found. Four square-shaped pit-type dwellings were also discovered here.
Many dwellings with posts dug into the ground, tateana (pit-type) remain, and wells from the 14th to 16th centuries (Middle Ages) were also discovered.
